The RA NA deputy Vladimir Vardanyan authored the legislative initiative to make amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia. On December 9, the proposals were debated at the NA extraordinary sitting.

According to the Chair of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, it is proposed to postpone the term for the introduction of the criminal electronic institution regarding intra-judicial proceedings by one year. The draft also proposes to postpone the examination of the cases in the anti-corruption annex of the existing and pending cases during the formation of the Anti-Corruption Committee until January 1, 2024.

The Head Committee presented the endorsement of the Head Committee.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arpine Sargsyan informed about the positive position of the Government regarding the issue.
